In the days before, Michael Zehaf-Bibeau had been reading the online posts of a Canadian jihadist who recently urged his followers to ?carry out attacks on Canada,? according to sources.

His online profile has turned up a link to Abu Khalid Al Kanadi, a Muslim convert and Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham member who has been urging attacks in Canada.

For those that say there's no ISIS connection

    Good find. R=UP

Now, could you send it to the Burnaby Police Chief who just stated on TV that these guys were "self radicalized" because apparently he didn't get the memo about how ISIS works.

He didn't actually connect with this Kanadi tho, just read his posts. So I guess you can see it thru either lens. Whatever, ISIS is an element here, we can't just dismiss that.

Bibeau drove around 2 days in his car with no plates.

How the fek can someone drive around with no plates on a vehicle for 2 days? It'd be funny if it wasn't so sad. I can see no tag but, no plates?

I guess the police and people were to busy looking in the windows of vehicles for distracted drivers to notice a car with no plates. :P

BTW want a laugh. Google that Al Kandi prick, he's pretty outrageous. Apparently he even said Jews could join ISIS if they renounced their religion. ROTFL

Wonder how that recruiting campaign is going for him.

It appears he's just another in the far to long line of westerners recruited by ISIS to do most of the talking for the new Caliphate. I guess they figure if they use foreigners to speak for them it makes their message all that much more palatable to the mental deficients stupid enough to believe it.

Even if he was high, crack did not make him do this. By all accounts from those in The Mission he stayed, the people he bought the car from etc. he showed no sings of being high. He was also cleared of mental illness not to long ago after he purposely got himself arrested to kick his crack habit. Thats not mental, its actually not a bad way to go about it, if you dont mind the record. He was angry and evil. Just because one buys into extremist crap does not mean they are mental. Being stupid does necessarily mean youre mentally ill. People need to stop making excuses for him.

As for the plates, yeah people go around all the time without plates and don't get stopped. I bet anyone of us could drive around any Canadian city (before this at least) for two days without plates without getting pulled over. Six teens crammed into a car without plates at 2 am, maybe more likely to get pinched.

Sorry I don't buy the "he was cleared of mental illness" argument simply because anyone who'd join the terrorists and commit an atrocity like he did isn't in the least bit sane, or normal.

As for the plates. Like I said in todays day and age where there are the please "turn in everyone" crowd it's unfathomable how nobody reported this vehicle for not having plates and I'm pretty sure that if he had have swerved just once or crossed the white line, there would have been a hundred calls to the Police Dept reporting him as a drunk driver.

you guys will believe anything your TV tells you, won't you?

this guy slipped through the cracks, even after begging for help, trying any way he could to make sure he wouldn't cause harm because he knew it could happen. and so it happened. end of story. there is no ISIS connection, even John Baird admits as much. the RCMP have made no such connection either. only the media made that connection, and it has no basis in reality. the life of a reservist was wasted because of jingoistic huffing and puffing over someone peeing on a statue, and the appropriate resources not being spent on someone who was completely aware and in full admission of how dangerous his mental illness could become.

peeing on a statue ? Someone needs to pee on you.

blah blah blah mental illness, put our jihadi shit in with Vince Li, it'll be better.....
