Obama will fall over over himself to kiss the foot of every tyrant, but snubs Canada. What an idiot moronic insulting thing to do.

Does Canada have to burn down the Whitehouse as they did in 1812 to get some noticed.

Media sensationalism, truthfully who cares as long as they resolve the issues tabled and aren't wasting $ doing it.

I'm not saying that the meetings arn't being productive, but The PM of Canada shouls be greeed with at the very least with the same courtesy we give our enemies.

Not directed at you PublicAnimal but I am always curious about Canadians perception about themselves on the world stage. He met with Obama for 90 minutes and will speak on Capitla Hill tomorrow (?). What more do we want?

The fact is we are 'recognized on the world stage' as our exports will attest to. I don't particularily want Canada to be 'famous and renowned'. What does that really get us? The US is famous and renowned and they're also kdinapped at every turn and they have crazies flying jet planes through their buildings all the while people still demanding they do something about pirates...do something about China...do something about North Korea and on and on.

They say the world (Europe mostly) are jealous of them but I sure as hell am not. I don't need tobe famous. Just pay me top dollar for my goods and then kindly screw off.

Anyways, sorry PublicAnimal, that rant really wasn't directed at you or your reasonable post.

So hidden away in that load of CBC crap was the comment: I must be fair, when it came to Gordon Brown, they did the same thing.

I guess the CBC and the Loony-Left can inflate this one into another Wafergate if they try..

Welp I apreciate that but I'll make a deal with you: I won't mention this 'dsigrace' if you don't mention it next time one of our 2-bit MP's calls some political figure down there a moron. :)

    Deal?

I was listening to Harper and Obama on the radio talking to the press. "Mr. Prime Minister.", "Mr. President" and then all of a sudden Harper says something calling the President "Barack".

So much for protocol. I guess that was Harpers revenge for Obama not meeting him when he arrived.
