Google dismisses 'Atlantis find'

The Lost City of Atlantis is still lost - despite hopes that Google Earth had located the fabled city on the floor of the Atlantic Ocean.

    "Atlantis" is a way overused descriptor for every new archeological find west of the British Isles.

    Observers noted what seemed to be a grid of streets and the outlines of a big city on the sea floor about 960km (600 miles) off the African coast.

    Must be the same "Observers" that see the face of Jesus in toast and who are regularly abducted and probed by aliens. :|

    What Google isn't saying, however, is that they have an exploration team on the way right now to salvage artifacts.
