So proud that he won not only our first gold at home, but that he won that event in particular. He beat the smug turncoat Dale Begg Smith. I mean it's fine if you want to represent a different country, but do you have to me an asshole about it at the same time? He just looked like he didn't care to be there, and when Alexandre Bilodeau took the podium in first plaace, it felt really good to be a Canadian!

Nice a guy from Quebec win the first gold medal on Canada's ground.
Quebec won about 47% of the gold medals of Canada since 1990.
