Nope. I'm only on the left in your view because you're so far to the right that you can't see anything else.

Zipperfish Zipperfish:
The science has been pretty clear all along.

True. This video's 3 year's old, but you can start here if you'd like to catch up.

$1:
The so-called skeptics, driven more by political ideology than anything, have deliberately denied and obfuscated the issues.

Image

$1:
I didn't see you, or any of the other deniers, say, during the so-called "pause" that warming should be expected to resume given that CO2 concentrations continue to increase.

That would have been the scientifically sound and non-alarmist stance.

Well yeah, because it's all about the science for you name-calling hysterics, isn't it?

Image

$1:
Or, for example posting pictures of some climate change voyage getting caught in ice in the Antarctica--the message being that clearly global warming is a pile of crap.

Oh c'mon, learn to laugh at yourselves. That was funny. ROTFL

Image

$1:
I'm sorry, you can't attack every single finding supporting global warming, vilify every single scientist talking about it

Image

$1:
and then be expect to be taken seriously when you say "Well we knew all along that humans were causing warming."

And thanks for proving my point. We're back to "it's all bullshit now." You can't even stay consistent on one thread. lol.

"I know all those science guys say one thing, but let's check in with Angry Constitutionalist 420 over at Infowars first to get a different opinion. Meme photos are incoming!". I see more clearly why you took some time off from here. Dealing with this level of stubborn Aspergers-levels of deliberate ignorance is really hard to take sometimes.

I can see why the oil companies themselves no longer want to be associated with this kind of clown act. Rex Tillerson said global warming is real but that it's a problem created by engineering and industry so it has to be addressed by engineering and industry, not by environmental puritanism. I know that's not something the hardcore environmentalists want to hear but at least it indicates a willingness to address and correct the problem, as opposed by the sheer stupidity of the "it's all a fraud!" politicians and their hacks from the comment sections.

You may have missed the point that your opinion of 'deniers' and 'we own the science' and such is what's being called out as bullshit. But thanks for quoting it so it's easy to see.

I'm sorry Thanos. Did that require a disclaim?

'Caution global warming memes may be triggering to snowflakes', or something like that?

Come to think of it...I wonder why Zip is finding it so necessary to try to sell the lie that Skeptic scientists and those who listen to them have changed their message over the years...

Strange that most of us seem to have a big problem with putting junk into our water, but mucking up the land doesn't seem to elicit the same reactions... even less when talking about our atmosphere.

Easy to see what polluted water and land looks like, but there are less visible signs in the air. But since we don't have "absolute" proof of climate change, why change what we're doing now.

Can't put too much pressure on the poor businesses to clean up their act. 8O

Not just businesses but everyone. Taking the coal-fired power plants offline will be a major step forward. A full switch-over from coal to natural gas and eventually nuclear will end up eliminating about half the problem altogether.

It doesn't help when you have fucktards like DiCrapio wailing about witnessing the horrifying effects of global warming after experiencing a chinook in Calgary.

Also, let's try to remember what we're actually talking about here is Carbon Dioxide, not "Carbon".

Carbon is what's responsible for the more accurate term "carbon based life." Carbon Dioxide is what hothouse farmers gas in to help their tomatoes grow. It's what you exhale. Apparently 2 pounds of it every day. I heard that somewhere.

But let's not fib an insinuation of the black coal smoke we see billowing out of Chinese smokestacks as what's being discussed here. Carbon dioxide is invisible.
