What would you know about what goes on in a high school?

I can see you, sitting back in your chair, arms crossed, and the biggest trollish grin on your face...

Anyhow... I know that it's pretty dumb to spend 13 years of your life doing something and then just quit when it's over in a month... but I also know that the only real honest difference between me and my classmates who bothered with prom and graduation is a piece of paper. Who cares? Your mantra of "conviction" and "determination"? Who really gives a damn about the diploma. Employers sure as fuck don't. I was there until literally the end, with great English and Social Studies... And I've since gone to college, which I got into without even a glance at my transcripts, because my English isn't that bad... My teachers liked me, I liked them, but had a bit of a problem liking myself at the time. 18 is really not a good age.

In my career I've been and engineer, scientist and manager and I never finished Grade 11 in high school. I seriously could not stomach he place. And I went to like four of them.

Postscript for NSA: I should specify that I actully did get university degrees in engineering and science, so I'm not a complete fraud.
