You guys are making a mountain out of a Strawman. There was nothing Douchy in what he said.

Really? This does not bother you.
$1:
"No, absolutely, if I no longer recognized in Canada my values… But I believe deeply in Canada and I know that Quebec in Canada can put it back on the right path," he finished.

Since he does not intend to run for the Liberal leadership I don't see why anyone should much care about what he thinks. He seems to have become, because of who his father was, a media darling of sorts.

Other than the awkward way you edited it together, no, it doesn't bother me.

What "proofs" do you want? The other thread about statements that are being made (that no elected member would have dared to make without clearance just months ago) is one piece. I have a very old friend who used to be an active member of the Conservative Party and now, having sold his businesses in Southern Alberta, lives in retirement in Harper's riding, promises to work against Harper in the next election.

I am active in these things across the country and I am hearing it in several places. Pensioners are up in arms. What more do you want. It is an opinion but it is not the idle musing of one who is not involved enough to see.

Leave out the ethnic problems of Quebec and that province best exemplifies what Canada was all about in its social values. It remains the progressive society where the country as a whole is sliding backwards into a split society of economic haves and have nots and to an authoritarian structure.

How sweet. Where are the $$ coming to pay for it?

Dollars to pay for what? If you are referring to the social programmes that are being gutted, there is no shortage of dollars. Only a government that is misapplying dollars.

Harper's policies will, by 2013, have reduced revenues by $220 billion and increased expenditures by $229 billion.

Prisons, planes, and waste instead of pensions and health.

If only we spent more on health, it would have allowed you to recover from that brain injury sooner.

Oh! The Wit. That repartee is just too much for any mere mortal to go against. Oscar Wilde step aside.

Never mind facts.

The facts?

The facts on the 2013 budget will reveal themselves in the future. Unless you are psychic...

Everything else is conjecture, guestimates, and educated inferences based on the current situation.

The beauty about politics... let's call this Rule #1.

When a politician or political party, does or says something stupid, you can ALWAYS find someone on the other side of the political spectrum that did or said something as stupid, or worse.

So, let me get this straight. He's in a contest with Toews for the dumbest fuck on Parliment Hill? 8O

I guess that would explain those two dolts most recent comments then?

Was that so difficult? The 2013 budget will not be the deciding factor. Most of those financial details have already entered the system.

$60 billion of that $229 Billion is in the form of corporate welfare.

Yup, they all have.

Not like commodity pricing will change, or that the US will recover (or not), etc, etc, ad nauseam.

There is a whole year of fun that can change everything.

Hell, if Iran is attacked and oil prices soar, we could see epic revenue generation...but that would not change the 2013 budget, no, not at all.

I think it's rather decent of Justin to show his true colours and stick another nail in the Lib coffin.

Once again, the 2013 budget has nothing to do with it. Those figures cover from 2007 to 2013 and are already committed where they have not already been either given away or spent.

The Libs have no idea what a coffin looks like. That's why they keep banging nails into that box thingy. :D
