I wouldn't sweat it much. A few of the school yard bullies aren't keen on new guys coming to play in the sandbox - especially if they aren't the kow-towing tugging their forelock type. There'll be some initial pack mentality to push through, but most are pretty good and the pack, once they've flung some of their feces, is easily distracted by moral outrage exercises and fobbing off their bigotry agenda as legitimate criticism.

Thank God for Duck Dynasty - it has saved us from some of the regularly scheduled brown people are bad episodes.
