He's completely disappeared from their website. It's like "Hey, maybe those Somali drug dealers weren't the most reliable guys to deal with." Ha ha ha.
Looking forward to next week's gong show.

Looking forward to next week's gong show. I actually hope Ford unleashes a lawsuit and wins as much as I think he's a douche. Star, you should have put your money where your mouth is. I bet it's cheaper in the end.

redhatmamma redhatmamma: Gone, Gone Gone - Poor Toronto Star.. now what will they do. OOps, maybe they'll manufacture one You won't have to wait long. June 21st will be the next one. It's gay pride week in Toronto, He typically doesn't attend them, prefers to spend that long weekend at his cottage so that means him hates gay people. /s After that I predict he holds a child in public a little to 'weird' which sets off the Toronto star pedo accusations.

I don't like that he doesn't attend the parade, it brings millions of dollars into the economy. Show up for even an hour ffs, you're the mayor of the city.

Maybe he doesn't want to drive down from the family cottage weekend and I don't blame him. He should show up for an event prior to the weekend (if there is one). I don't see why any one should be forced to attend a parade.
I'm surprised that the misleading title of this thread is allowed to stand.

He didn't show up for the marathon or many of the huge charity bike races. Why isn't that an issue?

Ahh...so the tape is "gone"? Any bets on when he files a lawsuit against the Toronto Star?

commanderkai commanderkai: Ahh...so the tape is "gone"? Any bets on when he files a lawsuit against the Toronto Star? Not sure if he could or should. The Star didn't start the story, Gawker did... and the Star wasn't the only paper that carried it. But there is the fact that a Star reporter said he saw the video. Did you notice how careful they were in how they described it? Someone who may or not be Ford, smoking what may or not be crack.

If I were Ford, I'd start defending myself with lawsuits using the City to fund the lawyers.

I'm sure there were articles that were not as cautious, and if they claim they saw a video, that now has conveniently disappeared, he might have a case. Gawker's probably untouchable considering it's a tabloid, but I'm not really a lawyer.
