I really hate to promote McD's but their coffee is much better than it was.

If you need a fix then get one.

If you want to eat have there...just starve, its probably better for you.

After all those retailers who said "Oh you won $1 on 6-49, let me sign the ticket for you" Ontarians should be suspicious....

Coffee? Starbucks all the way. Cuppa their shit and I drive nonstop Prince George to Terrace in the middle of the night and wake the grandkids up to play. Then I take them to Timmies and have a cup of their coffee to go to sleep!

It's a conspiracy I tell yeah, the shits rigged. My guess is that it's the aliens again or the American CIA messing my chances of winning anything. Damn Aliens and CIA playing mind games with us ontarioians.

Contest or no contest I enjoy both Tim Hortons and Mcdonalds coffee. It just depends which is more accessible which is usually the Mcdonalds across the street from my work. I have yet to win as much as a doughnut from Tim Hortons and besides you can't go wrong with less than a toonie for a large Mcdonalds coffee and a muffin! :D

They did a blind taste test a few years ago, and McD's coffee was apparently rated the best.

McD's coffee is like sipping molten lava. They serve it so bloody hot you have to let it cool or put ice in it before you can drink it and now the jerks control how much cream and sugar you put in it.

The other downside to McD's coffee is that they serve it with food that's not all that great.

I recently took what my friend Chris called "The McDonalds' Challenge".

I bought a simple cheesburger and a side of fries and then did not unwrap them or take them out of the bag. I just set them on a shelf in my garage for two weeks.

At the end of the two weeks the appearance of the burger and fries was indiscernable from a fresh burger and fresh fries. The bun was firm, but still yielded and there was no mold on the burger or fries.

Mold will not grow on McD's food. 8O

I'm swearing off their food after this.

Their coffee I avoid anyway just because I'm not fond of 2nd degree burns.

I heard a long time ago that they put an anti-vomiting agent in the food.
This may just be an urban legend.

I don't think that I've been in a McD in 10 years.
As for Tim, I go maybe 2-3 a year.
The only good coffee is my coffee (try it sometimes) and the coffee at work because they have one of those newfangled coffee-makers called a 'Vienna Deluxe' by Saeco.

Talking about fast food...

I was in Kelowna at the Burger King a couple of weeks ago... Ordered a salad... I don't know how "fresh" they serve their stuff, but the cheese was molded...

:x :?

"Would you like it replaced or your money back?"
"Please, give me my $6.49 back"

The worst coffee I have ever had is usually at any Mac's store. 8O
I think it's Seattles best also.

When I started working with some Newfies I got hooked on Timmys.
They couldnt drive by a Timmys without stopping, even after a long day pipelining when most guys want a cold beer, they would stop and get 2 DD's each.

But my bud who's wife worked at a Timmy's back east allways thought they were rolling up the rims before you got your cup because someone where she worked got caught.
So he allways went inside and eyeballed the rim just as the coffee was handed to him, make sure it wasnt tampered with.

If the test was based on the odds of it putting hair on your chest, I'd be inclined to agree.

Oh. You don't have to drink any coffee to get some hair 'on your chest' I can help you out with that Rosie. But if you don't want any hair 'on your chest', I can shave 1st!!
