Streaker Streaker:
Harper standing side by side with Obama will underline the extent to which he is yesterday's man.

Iggy (whom I despise, incidentally) is much more Obama's equal and will benefit from being in his halo.

ROTFL

That's the funniest thing you've said in quite some time.

Today's visit will provide a boost to the Liberals.

XD

explain how

He can't. He can't come to grips with the idea that Obama actually has more in common with the Conservative Party than his beloved Liberals.

Like carbon sequestration...during the media scrum he also used the term oil sands not the left wing nut version of the term. :P

Thats because a lot of people consider the US so right wing that even their Democrats are right of our Conservatives. Obama got called the most Liberal of the Democrats though. Clinton did get along well with Canada and the Liberals for the most part as Regan did with Mulroney.

What matters most is will Obamas policies be in line with what benefits Canada or not.

Perhaps he'll decide to make a few bucks and agree to sell Canada some cheap nucs, Blackhawks, and JSFs at a price we can afford.

Praise be to Obama then eh?

Funny but I agree with your second para. I'll base my like/dislike on Obama based on what he does versus "He's not Bush".

Your third para is a nice wish list (minus the nukes, we don't need them) but I can't see it happening.

Your last para is kind of funny coming from a devout? atheist.
